I just bought a Amazon Fire TV and put Kodi on it that only has a gigabyte of memory and I have a bunch of movies to scrape. My movies are stored on an external hard drive and would like to store my Kodi artwork in the same folders as my movies on my external hard drive. Here is a video guide but it's outdated with the current version of Kodi.

That youtube video is still a valid procedure. The only issue with that method is that it exports a copy of the cached artwork which has been modified from the original. The modification takes the form of a reduced resolution to speed up loading in Kodi.

If you want the original copies of the artwork downloaded, then install Artwork Dump... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=360078
You will have to install it via zip file as it is not in the official repository.
Once you have configured the add-on, everytime you scrape a new item, the artwork is automatically downloaded to the media folders.

It can also be manually run to download the artwork for all your existing library items. Be aware that last year TMDB undertook an extensive purge of their artwork, so don't be surprised if many of your movies and tv shows don't have posters or fanart downloaded.

Also ensure you have artwork settings in Kodi set to maximum... https://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/Media/Videos#Artwork

Thanks again. I couldn't find the import option because I didn't have Advanced option setting turned on.
