no it does not support HDR or Dolby Vision

it may support Dolby Digital or Dolby Atmos, since you didn't specify what dolby

Confirm. I also use infusions with RD and it works with HDR and DV. I hope that someone with a big heart will help us.

Would really be interested in getting this feature. 
Does this not work because of the hardware, or is it a software issue?

software. There's still no public API for HDR, and the only way to get it to work is to use the system-provided video player (Kodi uses custom one). But the system player has limited capabilities in terms of formats / codecs it supports.
