Unfortunately I cannot see any problem in the log. According to the log it all works fine. So I have trouble resolving the disconnect with what I see and what you experience.
I can only put it down to some Android glitch as it all works well on your Windows install.
I am not really sure what else to do here. Sorry.

Can you try one last thing.

Please create an advancedsettings.xml file and add the following code...
The file is saved in the Userdata folder... https://kodi.wiki/view/Userdata
Try scraping again. The scraping will take a bit longer than normal, but it will be interesting to see if everything is found.

I have just tried your proposal but no luck!!! Only time was reduced from one hour to 30 minutes, in both phases!!!

As soon as I realised the release of kodi 21.1 I installed it on my android player to check if my has been repaired, but I was unfortunate! Same condition, no scrape!!!

I could ask you for another log, but I am pretty sure it won't show anything new, so I won't waste your time.
I just reread the thread, and I have no idea what the problem could be, but I am convinced there is a problem with that particular Android box. Maybe a python issue? Do you have problems with other python addons?
My only suggestion is that you use a Media Manager to scrape the movies and tv shows. It will create nfo files and save local artwork, which Kodi will use.
Or you could populate your library using the working Windows setup.

Thank you for the quick response! As I have mentioned before I have tried kodi21 on several android tv boxes with no luck! No I do not use any other python addons! I have also mentioned that my movie library is on a sql server on a qnap NAS with my movies! On this data base have access a bunch of several tv boxes with kodi 19 installed with absolutle no problem at all! (Same thing with all the previous kodies all previous years). Using kodi21 there is no issue for the tv box to "see" the data base, the problem appears when I ask of it to scrape a new movie that added recently!!!! The first window with the bar appears and stuck there for ever!!!

After so many tries and settings I thing I have a small clue! The problem disappears when I set the android tv box network settings on DHCP!!! I have tried it on two different boxes with the same result! Everything works flawlessly!!! Both movies and TV shows. I can not explain it, but it is a fact! In my private home network I have to give on every box static IP adress, in order to give rights to each of them accessing my QNAP NAS! This was happening all those years with the previous kodi editions without problems! (except kodi 20 & 21). Any ideas

Your previous logs have expired and been deleted, so I can't check.
But I guess that your network was changing the IP address on your android boxes whenever they were shut down or disconnected from the network, or changing the address on the server hosting the MySQL database, so the boxes and databases could not communicate?
Setting static IP addresses for all your hardware should be default behaviour, and would make sense the problem has resolved itself.
Kodi has absolutely no control over this, so why it started happening now, and not previous versions, might be because of system updates, not Kodi updates.

All the devices in my network have and have had static IP adresses! No one or anything could change them! I admit that there is something strange in my network, but since now everything works perfectly with kodi19! Changing a random tv box to kodi 21 the problem appears! The common sense tells me that something has changed inside the kodi21 too! Nevertheless, just a second before I ask my kodi21 to scan into library a new movie, I see RSS news passing by, I can see weather forcast, meaning there is internet access, kodi has access to my sql database and the old movies appear just there and if I ask on a movie to change the poster or the fanart, no problem!!! By cicking scan ito library it freezes like there is no internet connection!!! Could please send me the URL that kodi try to connect at that time, so to try it from my pc to check the access!!!

You stated in your previous post that now everything works flawlessly. So what are you trying to figure out now?
