Anyone any recommendations on which VPN I should use with KODI please, I have failed to find anything in the Kodi repository. Some of the others suggested on Google seem a little flaky and no ref can be found on Github so based on my last advise if it's not on GitHub don't use it, I thought I would ask the forum.

No, as Kodi does not in itself need a VPN when used for its designed purpose.

VPN is absolutely essential to maintain privacy (from your ISP) even coloring inside all the lines yourself.  Don't trust the kodi device itself with kludgey client software though.  Use a wireguard client and firewall exclusion rules on an upstream device like OpenWRT: no vpn traffic no internet.  Verizon wireless makes it extremely challenging to opt-out of cataloging and selling your internet behavior.
