FFmpeg developers progress on PGS support in M2TS files
#1
Some recent patches submitted and accepted by the ffmpeg project have enabled PGS support in M2TS files. I just downloaded the latest and greatest from svn and can get subs from all the M2TS files that I've tried.

Hopefully this capability will make its way into XBMC one of these days.

Would they work in a MKV-Container as well?

Hello,

Does anyone knows if there is a possibility to make it works with a .MKV container ?

Thanks a lot !

By the way, it works with m2ts container... but the subtitles stay too long on the screen. Hope it will get fixed in a future release.

This has long been solved Confused

Why are you two kicking up this thread when you apparently don't even have an m2ts file or don't even know what it does?

I didn't summoned this thread, scphantm did. I'm only curious Nerd because i have a lot of m2ts/mkv and I don't know what is PGS and I can't find anything Googling. Huh

It's the subtitle format used by BluRay (bitmaps).
