I'm trying to put together a PC that will be good enough to run XBMC Live/Linux and will be able to smoothly cope with the 1080p HD media, including very large files of 30GB or more, ie m2ts streams within an mkv container.
Is a AMD Athlon X2 245 2.9GHZ CPU and 8400GS 512MB DDR2 PCI-E GPU with 2GB RAM enough to cope with that? Will there be any problems with HDMI audio?
Any other comments?
Thanks.
