The wiki feels outdated and ad hoc.
I have started to go through a heap of pages and tidying them up, adding redirects, and 'incomplete' and 'outdated' templates.
A lot of the stuff seems years old, and forgotten. For example this page is linked from the main page and hasnt been updated in 3 years! Its very disheartening to new users.
There are heaps of redundant pages, and unmaintained pages too. I feel like a lot of the information is repeated over and over in different ways on different pages. Just wondering is there someone who presides over all of it? I do understand that as time goes by a lot of it becomes redundant naturally, but perhaps some of this could be fixed by allowing for it in the creation of pages?
Can we map out the page arrangements a bit better and enforce more stringent editing standards? (which also need a bit of an update)
I'd like to continue editing and fixing etc, but some of the pages there I'm not sure on, is this forum the best place to ask as I go on? Sorry if this comes as a shock. I'm new here, so be nice
