Set up MySql: now?
#1
Hi there.
I want to use MySql to benefit of watched/unwatched movies between different clients.
I set up Mysql on my nas: created user and dbs.

Now it's time to configure my machines: I've edited advancedsettings.xml, and the guide I'm following says

"Once you've copied the file (advancedsettings.xml) to every XBMC installation on your network, start one of them up and import the music and video libraries you exported. This freshly imported—or freshly scanned, if you're starting from scratch—library will populate the database on your primary machine/server."

The thing is that posters, fanart and infos are stored *with* my movies on my nas, so do I really need to import my library on one client?
Or should I just delete my movie folder, clean xbmc library, and then add the source again, letting xbmc scrape movie info from tbn, fanart and info stored on the nas?

And what about other xbmc clients? Let's assume I'm starting a clean xbmc install from all of my pcs...

Thank you very much guys Wink
