Hi,

Been a user of Media Browser for many months, but have only just stumbled upon XBMC.

Up to now I've only viewed some videos of XBMC, but want to give it a spin.

If I let XBMC loose on my media collection, does XBMC do any writing to my media folders. The last thing I want to do is mess up my current Media Browser setup.

Also I've noticed the many plugins available for XBMC, can these be setup to run from the main page as apposed from selecting the addon options?

There must be some ex Media Browser users here, what are the big pluses for XBMC?

we only write to the media folder if you explicitly request a library export.
