I have an older Wetek Core box (about 3 years old). Does anyone know if it supports Kodi 17?

It works with VidOn (bad idea) or via native movie player, but not Kodi. Sam at OSMC is working on enabling MVC support w/Vero 4K, but not sure if/when we'll see this, and whether it'll be half or full-rez render.Stretch will be released on Sunday (7th).

I’ve found however that there are fewer modes available for 3D FP on some displays. We pick the best refresh rate advertised by the EDID. This of course can be overridden.

1080p & 720p 24/23.976Hz framepacking 3D are mandatory for all HDMI 1.4a 3D displays.

For now, I've patched Kodi to set up mvc-h264 as the decoder each time (also need to ensure prefeeding routines are called for this content).

Some Sony TVs support 1080p 50/59.94/60Hz framepacking 3D mode. Other brands usually do not.
There is some HSBS 1080i50 and 1080i59.94 and some HTAB 720p59.94 content (TV broadcasts mainly) which could be re-sized and output as 1080p or 720p FP at 50/59.94Hz I guess - but that is a real edge case?
