Is there any plan to merge the Python 3 code yet?

I'm just starting to build and convert my old Add-ons and it would be useful to get this in mainline.

https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/16116 has the alpha1 milestone. Afaik only uwp is holding it at the moment, but it looks like there has been recent activity from afedchin on that front.
