Hi There,
I installed a Dell AMD Radeon HD 7470 SFF video card into my tower, which runs Kodi 17.6 inside Ubuntu 18.04. It works great, Kodi works fine, but as long as I have Kodi running, I can hear that GPU fan whirring inside the tower.
This is an 'always-on' computer that I use for file serving and other things, and Kodi is usually just idle. I don't like the idea of my GPU whirring away all night while the computer isn't really doing anything. Is there anything I can change in the settings that will give my video card a break?
