I'm quite new with KODI (2 moths) and still in the learning phase.
Home network with QNAP NAS, sharing multimedia folders through SMB.
Movies archive on the NAS, organised with one folder per movie, having the movie title as folder name (the archive comes from a previous WD Live TV, Linux based, as media center).
At the moment two KODI 18.4 installations, one on my laptop (Windows 10 Pro) and the other on a TV Box Bqeel R1 Plus (Android 9). The two installations are aboslutely clean, and setup in the same way (I double checked this).
The KODI Win version builds up the library perfectly, detecting almost 100% of the title correctly (on over 2.000 movie titles).
The KODI Android version builds up the library with a lot of "not detected" titles, or wrong matching. But the files archive is exactly the same!
I also tried to remove from folders the files, swicthing off the relating setting no the video source, on KODI menu, with no result, and still wrong behavior of the Android version.
Any idea to support me? The Androind version is the connected to the TV, while the Win version is the one a use for learning and testing...
