The socket branch is not ready yet, so I'm not surprised that it crashes
Also this is basically a try to dump the CURL dependancy, not really an update to the latest API changes in frodo. Right now the current master branch is compatible with eden only - I will look into frodo once I finshed the work on the socket branch...Unfortunately I'm quite busy at the moment so I cannot spend as much time on coding as I really would want to. But rest assured that I have not abandoned this addon!
