Since the new audio engine features went in I've been experiencing video stuttering when playing back 5.1 AAC material which is transcoded and my receiver sees as AC3 5.1 - the sound plays back fine but the video stutters and log is full of lines such as:

DEBUG: CDVDPlayerAudio:: Discontinuity - was:2923346403.262723, should be:2923526743.400335, error:180340.137612

I submitted a trac bug report http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/13093 back in June when I first spotted it but looks like I should have reported in this thread instead. There must be a lot of users with a similar setup who don't have an AAC capable receiver but I've not seen any bug reports with the same symptoms so I'm thinking it must be something particular to my hardware or it's configuration.

I've updated the trac bug with a new debug log and some more system information - could someone take a look and see what you make of it - thanks.
