I've been using it just on my iMac in my office while I work, but ready to make the leap to feature it in the HTPC I'm getting ready to build.
One problem remains for me to make the leap though: VERY loud audio popping whenever I switch between channels. Like full volume, no matter what volume my speakers are at. Following the loud pop, a lot of the time whatever switches on goes "mute" and I need to physically go over and turn up the audio for it to return.
I'm using the most recent PseudoTv build (as per link in OP), newest Eden, on a Mac, etc. Edit: Just wanted to stress this is a very simple, download-and-install situation. Haven't done any scripting, not really any messing with xbmc's default options, even just sticking with Confluence. Although I have tried a variety of skins, and that doesn't seem to affect the issue.
I've tried searching (and manually reading through this mega thread) to resolve this issue, and have only found people talking about the problem, not the solution.
Thanks for the insanely great work to those involved, and thanks in advance if you're able to point me in the right direction!
I have been having this same problem for a few months now ever since I set up my Pseudo Tv and I can't get anyone to solve this. Jason did add a time delay type option on a recent nightly build but it did nothing for me besides delay the time it took to hangs channels :/ I'm on a Mac as well and all my videos stores on a external HD I was hoping maybe it was the lag time between the external and the computer via USB? Other than that this issue seems to be ignored unfortunately
