Try removing the add-on (uninstall), quit XBMC, and then browse to your userdata folder and remove any folders that relate to either trakt or traktr / trakt utilities if you've ever had those versions installed.
Likely locations (Windows):
%Appdata%\XBMC\addons\
%Appdata%\XBMC\userdata\addon-data\
Restart XBMC, re-install the plugin, and configure it from scratch.
