The only problem I ever had with mine (No HDMI audio unless legacy boot was disabled) was fixed with a bios update. If you're running Windows 8 and use a good MCE-compatible remote, it's almost plug and play (except for having to install the drivers). I use mine and have no problems at all. For the price, this hardware is incredible and quite usable. I think a lot of people are having problems with OpenELEC and other Linux distros, which is not a problem of the hardware.
