I don't get you... this is your problem, not mine...
I'm not obligated to help you, nor do I want to spend my day going through every possible way you could have installed it wrong!
Figure out your own mess, nobody is being an a-hole! I'm emphasizing my statement to you!
There is no way to screw it up following post 1, it's as simple as that!
How can I have installed it wrong? I followed your post to the letter, even going one further and removing XBMC install, XBMC related folders. Complete clean full install.
When your app auto-tunes, it picks up all meta information and applies it to the EPG. That's fine. But when you import smart playlists, it misses most of the scraped information, but some files get the information.
Now, if there was a problem with the scraped data, regardless whether it's Auto-Tuned, or put in manually vis smart playlist (As you say, PSTV gets the info from the scraped date), it wouldn't have any meta whatsoever for those files.
So, how come I only have issues with the meta not displaying correctly when using PSTV (sometimes it does display, but ONLY if PSTV auto-tunes the date) but not anywhere else in XBMC, even AFTER a fresh .exe install.
It doesn't work for you. Sorry. Now move on and stop harassing the guy. He's done an amazing job putting this together, but sometimes shit doesn't work for you. Find another alternative.
