Hi Angelscry,
Finally got round to doing the above and it worked great, many thanks - went a step further and put all the Sega games in with other arcade games with Mame as the default and then made the alternative application either the AM2 or AM3 emulator for certain games as needed.
Slightly off topic, but do you (or anybody else) use the Sega AM2 emulator? I can't find a way of closing the emulator using the keyboard (Escape takes it out of fullscreen to window mode and then you have to use the mouse) and then return to XBMC - if you have any ideas that would be great?
Also, I noticed when editing the emulator or a game etc... when you change something it goes back to the list so i.e. I have my list of systems/emulators, I bring up the context menu, go to modify data, change the name for instance and it goes back to the list of systems and if I want to change something else I have to go through the same process. This may be XBMC rather than Advanced Launcher, but it would be useful if you could change a field and it remains in that window so i.e. I can change the name, then the studio, select a new description file etc... in one go. Would this be possible in the future or is it more to do with XBMC?
Many thanks again.
