I've recently upgraded from XBMC Gotham 13.2 to Kodi Helix 14.0 and since then, I can't launch Rom Collection Browser from my main menu anymore. It works fine if I go into the default programs menu and launch it from there, but if I create a shortcut on my home screen for RCB, it won't launch. No Error or freezing; just doesn't do anything
I'm considering a fresh reinstall, but I'd prefer avoiding the setup again since it took me a long time to get everything in RCB to work as it should.
I'm at a lost here, so any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

I haven't been able to get RCB to launch any games with Helix one getting past this step, although this could be a problem with Openelec 5. Anyone got it working at all under Helix?
I don't fully understand your question, but if you are saying that you can launch RCB just cannot run any games, you might want to run the emulator from command line and see if you get any errors. OpenELEC 5.0.0 (or shortly before) ditched some libraries that used to be a part of the system. If your emulator relies on those libraries being there, that might be your problem. I am using Retroarch and had to get libSDL-1.2.so.0 and libSDL_image-1.2.so.0 for MAME. this is not to say that you need exactly those libraries, because it depends on what you are using for emulator, but getting the emulator to run from command line would be your first step.
If you are using Retroarch and MAME and you are missing same libraries as I was, look here http://openelec.tv/forum/128-addons/6497...480#125467
