unfortunately I have already tried this but it doesn't work. Maybe the problem is that IR receiver have an alternate address on the Boardwell NUC then the haswell NUC.

Is there a way to report this to intel or raise it in their community forums? Issues with CIR and haswell were previously reported and fixed even though it took a while:

Hopefully something similar can be done with the Broadwell NUC?
