Release P2P-Streams - SopCast and AceStream for Kodi
No the aengine can only handle one request and it's locked down to the machine it is running (and if they Support it). The goal of plexus is more to overcome this last part turning the addon in a client -server. So if there is an engine for the platform (e.g. windows, OSX, linux and Android) the addon can be a server for the addon running on platforms not supported (e.g. linux arm, ios). With Kodi team working on a server client implementation and the ability to run (in the future) Kodi headless to centralize your media changing this addon to this kind of implementation can open a lot of possibilities. In a distant future you'll have Kodi headless running on your linux based NAS and serving media (and in this case p2p live content) to any other Kodi client. Serving media, PVR, games (retroplayer)....
The future is quite bright for Kodi to be honest.
