The E-shift is the only gimmick I can tolerate, it is not worth a lot. It is noisy too. I have the PJ sealed, but I know people who simply leave it off for the noise alone. The RS49 is visibly brighter with better contrast than the RS40 I had though. Lens mem is awesome, what do you do for aspects less than 2.35:1? Zoom with the remote?
