Typically is DD or DD+, so there is some precendent there for them trying to use DD+Atmos since it would be easier on bandwidth. This is assuming most AVR's are equipped to handle this format. Exactly my words! Netflix for example, already use Dolby Digital Plus for streaming on their 4K material. Yes True HD is way to "heavy" for streaming. Thats why no streaming services are using it, only DD and DD+.
Thats exactly why it makes me think why DD+ will be used for Atmos content.

Plus the fact that most TVs and home theatre systems do not accept THD passthrough.
