Just updated to update 3.0 (marshmellow) on the shield and passthrough is basically hosed with the Kodi V16 0220 patched build on some DTS-HD and some DTS 6.1. Regular AC3 and DTS seem to work. Some of these files when played resulted in Kodi quitting unexpectedly and 3D being detected. Only way to restart Kodi and resolve was to force quit Kodi or reboot the shield. RC1 works fine and v17 alpha also works fine.
