Why are you using this build in the first place, as the normal Jarvis build already handles DD pass through fine and you can't use hd audio in your setup?

Actually I tried the normal Kodi build as well. On the normal Kodi build the passthrough setting does not passthrough DD AC-3 sound at all. Everything gets converted to LPCM.

You are correct that in my setup there is no actual difference between DTS-DD-LPCM but it's a matter of OCD more than anything else.
