Jemus, I'm sorry I can't reply to your PM yet. So here's my response to your PM:
I use the ViewHD VHD-H2HARC between the ShieldTV and the Denon. So: ShieldTV <-> ViewHD <-> Denon <-> Panasonic
I think you could maybe try a cheap-*ss HDMI splitter as well, as long as it only supports up to HDMI v1.4. This forces the input and output HDMI version to the Denon to be the same. A quick test is if the "Adjust display refresh rate" works as described when you bypass the Denon for the sake of testing...... ShieldTV <-> TV
