Agree... you may as well get Shield if that's the case, if Netflix is important to you.

Here's what caught my eye...

H.264 MVC, up to 1080P at 60fps
Supports HDR10/HLG HDR processing (software upgrade required)
Up to 7.1 pass through

MVC! ... and HD audio via SPMC? If so, it would be an alternative to Shield and HiMedia Q10 Pro.

So, HDR requires a f/w update... and what the heck is HLG? Yet another HDR competitor?

Would be nice to know what SoC is powering this thing.
