1. This is already fixed in the beta version of the skin. A new stable version will be available later this week.
2. Well, the time the OSD panel is displayed after seek is controlled by Kodi. The skin only "reacts" on an event fired by Kodi itself. I'm not sure if there is any advanced setting to extend that time.
