In the past 2 days I'm practically unable to watch most condensed game versions via max's addon, as the stream will either start buffering almost immediately (very slowly too) or it'll be breaking up all the time. Doubt it's a connection issue as my 50mbps line is generally working OK.

Today I had the exact same issue with the Bucks-Spurs archived full game on both home and away feeds, making them practically unwatchable. The desktop version does not seem to suffer from the same problems. I also tried it on Xbox One's app, at first the aforementioned stream would play only on the lowest quality and about an hour later it finally decided to work correctly (although it kept exhibiting the same behavior on Kodi).

Now I'm watching the full game between the Pelicans and the Grizzlies (via Kodi) and I can't see any of the above issues. Wth is wrong with Neulion, really?

In continuation of the above rant, I now believe this year's NBA ILP experience is disgusting and this is an understatement. This doesn't have to do with Max's fantastic addon, but with the streaming provider. Not only there are no true 60 fps streams anymore, but watching most VOD games is unbearable.

Just now I was trying to watch the Bucks-Wizards and Celtics-Thunder archived games and the damn thing keeps buffering the whole effing time. Not only at 6000 and 4500kbps streams, but even on the 3000kbps one! Eventually I resorted to watching the games using another Kodi addon (NBA Full Games), which had an inferior quality of 1.2Mbps or so, but at least the video was at true 60 fps and didn't pause at all. This is not a issue with my line, like I said I'm on a 50Mbps VDSL which otherwise works perfectly fine. Live 6000kbps LP streams work perfectly fine as well. Only archived games are affected. And it's not a hardware thing as I'm getting these buffering issues both on Kodi/PC and Libreelec/Raspberry Pi2, even after restarting my router and powerline devices. The problem persists. On the other hand watching the games via LP on desktop browser at 3000kbps works OK, so the issue must be with the streams Max's addon is sourcing. Quite possibly the provider cannot handle all this bandwidth for these streams.

Neulion, really, go eff yourselves.

edit (one day later): today the exact same streams are playing without any pauses to buffer or other interruptions. When skipping to +20 or 30 minutes later, the stream resumes playing almost instantly instead of always stopping (as it did yesterday). Clearly the reason is that a few other people care about these games today, so Neulion have ample of bandwidth to use.

Merry Christmas to the whole world. Except Neulion.

Just a few hours ago I sent an email to Neulion complaining about all the problems from this year, a reaction triggered by the impossibility to watch the just-ended Cle-GSW anywhere but the browser (on friggin Adobe Flash Player, it's gonna be 2017 in a week FFS!). The only answer was the usual pre-compiled reply. And I realised that the only contact email is Neulion, there's no way to complain with the NBA about Neulion...
