If you guys want to understand the technical stuff that goes on Dolby Vision read the first 2 or 3 pages of this topic in avsforum why sony & samsung aren't using dolby vision.

Bit of a dated article already. As of CES 2017 Sony have released their flagship Bravia OLED's with DolbyVision.

I've read the DV White paper as well.
