Just to let you know - 

I also tested a Libreelec Pre-Alpha from adamg (latest). This version also had no problems with deinterlacing and progressive channels.
But I guess it is using an older kernel, like kszaq's builds do, right?

With this pre-alpha green screen issue is still present of course.

Yes I believe he tried the new Kernel and found issues as well so reverted back to using the old one.
I suspect all AML S9xx alpha LE Kodi Leia releases will be similarly affected.
We are very early in the Leia development cycle so plenty of time to sort out whatever is causing the deinterlacing problem.
