I had to give up on OSMC on my pi 1b and 3b because of power problems. For some reason OSMC (with Kodi 17.6 and Kodi 18) is causing under voltage just after fsck mmcblk0p2 while booting and while watching videos over Samba. When I am watching via Samba the pi will suddenly lose contact with the server, whether wireless or wired.
My power supply for the pi 3b is an ATX with a constant 5.06V 10A output, connected via the gpio pins. Nothing else connected to either the USB or the PSU.
The pi 1b has the official PSU and is basically useless because the library cannot update and Kodi crashes when I try to refresh.
I have given up after several different installs and 3 weeks of diddling with settings and fruitless searching, so no logs to upload they didn't tell much beyond "it crashed".
LibreELEC, Rasbpian etc do not display this behavior on the same hardware. Maybe I'll try again after Kodi 18 gets released, might be just an Alpha thing.
