This appears to be something on YouTube's end. Using inputstream.adaptive/mpeg-dash is the only way get the higher quality at this time.

I don't see a direct cause. The trailer screensaver service has not been updated for ~4 years though, so I wouldn't expect it to run as intended on 18.

There is nothing that can be done in Kodi 17.x to resolve the issue, on Kodi 18 all live streams are working with or without inputstream.adaptive/mpeg-dash.
- [fix] search history size
- [fix] remove Spanish (Latin America)|es-419 from the setup wizard, causing invalidLanguage and invalidRelevanceLanguage errors
