Color space switching isn't working for me unfortunately. I also have an unexpected bit-depth change from f/w 7.2.1 to 7.2.2 (with 23.976 4K HDR videos now playing in 8-bit, vs. 10-bit before). All testing via Kodi 18 RC4. I have my Shield at recommended display settings. I'm using my Optoma UHD51A projector's info display on screen to verify. And, I've tested both via my AVR (Yamaha RX-A3050) and directly to PJ; same results. I also have a Zidoo X9S media player and a cheapo AMLogic S912 box w/LibreELEC installed, and switching works as expected on both.

So, with Shield, playing 4K HDR videos, I get 2020 HDR. With standard 1080p videos, I get 2020 SDR (not 709 as expected). When I play 4K 59.940fps HDR videos, my PJ indicates 4:2:0 10-bit (correct). But, when I play 4K 23.976fps HDR videos, my PJ indicates 4:2:2 8-bit (incorrect I think). I was getting 10-bit with all 4K HDR videos w/7.2.1.

For comparison, with my Zidoo X9S (set to 10-bit) and S912 LibreELEC boxes, I get 2020/709 switching and the same bit-depth results. With 23.976 4K HDR videos, 10-bit 4:4:4. And with 59.940 4K HDR, 10-bit 4:2:0. Both correct I believe. With Zidoo, if I set it to 'Auto' for deep color mode, for 23.976 4K HDR, I get 12-bit 4:4:4, and for 59.940 4K HDR, 12-bit 4:2:0. These also are correct I believe.
