@steveottawa what hardware / software platform are you using for Kodi and the CBC addon?
I'm using Raspberry Pi's (2 / 3 / 3B+) with LibreELEC (Just enough Linux OS for Kodi) that work flawlessly with the CBC v4.0.4 addon, but not with v4.0.6.
I've taken a look through the github repository for the CBC addon and examined the changes between v4.0.4 and v4.0.6. So far I have been unable to determine what change might introduce the problems we are experiencing. This is frustrating and I can see why @micahg suggests that enabling FFMPEG in v4.0.6 should be the same as using v4.0.4. However from our testing this does not appear to be the case. There must be something we are missing or overlooking in troubleshooting this streaming problem.
