I'm back with some more findings:
- the above mention about colors "popping up" more than on the Fire TV 4k is tested and true!
The Amazon fire TV team messed up (?) the colors for 12 bits (for 10 bits it's pale in comparison, but looks a bit washed up, less natural) while there was no difference on the Fire TV stick 4k and the same screen (Sony 65XF9005) for the Cube the 12bits come with a very sweet (like too sweet) color shift (faces look a bit more pinkish, reds are visibly exagerated) etc. - so for now I'll keep 12 bits but I removed all other boost of colors from the TV.
