The idea was to move from TVDB to TMDB, since then as I have some strange issues.

Not sure if you are aware, but just because you change to a different provider does not mean you have to rescrape your entire library. This is where the importance of local information really shines, but so many users don't realise it.

If you have TV Show that are complete and you will not be adding new episodes to it, then leave them.

If you have TV Shows that are ongoing, then yes these you will need to Refresh the TV Show. No need to Refresh the episodes, so answer No when asked.

If you export your library to NFO files, then you have all the information you scraped from the provider for your library backed up into tiny little files, so if TVDB shuts down, blows up or deletes all its data, then who cares because you have your library data with you.

You are not the only one that does this, so don't feel I am singling you out as I have repeated the above so many times.

For the true movie geeks, save your artwork locally, and export to nfo files and you can never be held to ransom by the providers. But do give back by editing their databases or donating.
