One question: does this new release going to have any upgradability going forward like to be able to change kodi to a newer version or is it impossible for the way kodi is implemented? For 17.6 one thing that kept it alive this long was that you could update DSPlayer to a newer release, this greatly improved stability with modern audio codecs which have come pretty common in these... what, 7 years since this GOAT player was released.
I'm sorry, I meant LAV Filters. Some newer media would crash DSPlayer 17.6 and updating LAV Filters would fix that.
Update: i reuploadeded the release file https://github.com/tiben20/xbmc/releases/tag/dsplayer let me know if their is still other dependency not met. Maybe libplacebo as some missing ones
