Offset has nothing to do with this plugin.
In the subtitle file the frames numbers are listed and then shows the text. Example from frame number 12000 - 12300 'How do you do?' So if the frame number is not matched with subtitles they are then out sync.
So the solution is to download the right subtitles. To this comes because there are so many releases for just one film (cam, screener, dvdrip,...., ripped in pal, ntsc,..)
Subtitle offset greater then 10sec would be feature request for xbmc developer and not for this plugin.
