BaerMan Wrote:Allright, I did a complete uninstall of XBMC and newly installed the latest svn from PPA, which is 25284. It again refused to start but this time with a different error:
I manually installed package libcurl3 (which offers libcurl.so.4!! ) and afterwards it worked. Seems like there is a dependency missingCode:23:02:49 T:140252981307664 M:1507168256 DEBUG: SECTION:LoadDLL(libcurl.so.4)

There is definitely a dependency missing. I will need to add it manually in the runtime dependencies. That is because we don't link to libcurl3. We load it at runtime.
BaerMan Wrote:This means of course, that the shipped binaries (especially regarding time.so) seem to be OK. At least there wasn't an error. Probably this was left from a previous version of XBMC.
There is definitely a problem with Python. The python zip is shipped as being arch indep (so built once for every system) while it's containing shared objects (.so) . See the bellow logs for confirmation.
