Death-Axe Wrote:Hi, nearly there but not quite. It seems you have added IDs to the games, and multiple regions of games now all show on the list; well done.
Now you need to include the game id in the way the gameinfo and artworks show up, as it is not letting me select different covers for the different game regions.
If game filenames are different, the corresponding thumbs and fanarts images will be different. For example if your game filenames are :
Code:
sonic_the_hedgehog_(U)[!].zip
sonic_the_hedgehog_(E)[!].zip
sonic_the_hedgehog_(J)[!].zip
Corresponding images, by default, will be :
Code:
sonic_the_hedgehog_(U)[!]_thumb.zip and sonic_the_hedgehog_(U)[!]_fanart.zip
sonic_the_hedgehog_(E)[!]_thumb.zip and sonic_the_hedgehog_(E)[!]_fanart.zip
sonic_the_hedgehog_(J)[!]_thumb.zip and sonic_the_hedgehog_(J)[!]_fanart.zip
So you may not have problem to select different images for different game regions.
Death-Axe Wrote:It shows as 3 entries, but it thinks they are all the same game.
If you have selected the clean title option, any region information will be removed so :
Code:
sonic_the _hedgehog_(U)[!] will become "sonic the hedgehog"
sonic_the _hedgehog_(E)[!] will become "sonic the hedgehog"
sonic_the _hedgehog_(J)[!] will become "sonic the hedgehog"
And you will obtain 3 items with the same title... but they still different game file.
Death-Axe Wrote:So to summarise, in the back end of your coding it would work if the info, covers etc all relay on the game ID so they show up as different entries. If they are different files, they are different entries.
Same would apply for some games with sequels showing up as the same game.
