About making IR Work on Ubuntu 10.10... i've found that the it87 it's a 2.6.35 Kernel problem. Now i'm trying on putting on 2.6.38 Kernel on my Ubuntu 10.10, so the kernel will be the same as Openelec (working with IR Remote)
Did any of you tried this way yet ?
(i mean using natty kernel... i've read that it's possible to put it on Maverick)
UPDATE!! 10.10 with Natty kernel (2.6.38) and 10.04 lirc tricks works good !!!
By now just tried with irw command... tomorrow i will try with xbmc but i think there will be no problems...
