Thanks eskro!
My wife called right after that last post.
My budget went up
$400 is my max now... (A wife raising her hubby's fun budget, how rare is that)
This is what I'm thinking now (dvd drive and standard 160 gig notebook drive for now, and SSD later)
https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySav...D=14432534
Main features being these and 8 gigs or ram.
Figure this will let me do some gaming too.
AMD A6-3650 Llano 2.6GHz Socket FM1 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD 6530D AD3650WNGXBOX
Model #:AD3650WNGXBOX $119.99
ASRock A75M FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
Model #:A75M
Item #:N82E16813157260 $74.99
I am thinking for almost the same cost this would outperform my backup plan
Lenovo IdeaCentre Q180
