Sure, for normal usage differences are small: 1080P playback was already possible. But those newer Celerons perform better in every single way you look at it; even normal usage gain user experience compared to C847. A 1037u simply is a next iteration of tech (17w,22nm ivy bridge, 1,8 ghz cpu, 350/1000 mhz gpu, 2 mb cache) doubling performance/Watt!

I even would say max. bitrate for C1037u has atleast a 30% gain compared to C847.
