 It fails to grab an IP (builtin wifi) so I can't test it, and need to figure out a way to get working firmware back on it, since my Win box didn't see the partitions and I can't connect to it remotely now. 

Can you insert the sdcard into a different PC or sdcard reader? (this should just work and show the boot partition). 

Tried that, 3 computers, 2 USB adapters and SD adapters, all fail, it wants to format the card. This may have happened last week when I repartitioned the drive (gparted through liveCD) so I could run the debug builds. Huge pain, but I am finally back up, had to use a chromebook, that is the only thing that could see the drive(s) and I uploaded the current start and fixup files, still had to go in and reconfigure the wireless. Oddly enough, I could not upload into the .upload folder (whole build) from the chromebook, perhaps it sees it as locked.
I'm on the network and up again though. I'll give it another shot.
