Yes, it has been officially confirmed that the older Shields will get the Nougat update.
Yes, there is no need for a new wiki page. However, it does need updating and I will try to get around to doing that in the next couple of weeks. But since the wiki is community driven, anyone that wants to can make the necessary changes to the wiki page.
