Get a local public library card and register with Kanopy. It's free has tons of current content and has an Android TV application. There are others that are low cost that can also complete the content void.

IMPORTANT:
The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own.
