ive test something around here and i noticed, that GENRE doesnt work for me neither ! other rules seems to work ( i test year and ratings )
will test a bit more...

EDIT 1: ive test the same smart playlists in confluence - doesnt work neither !!!! - when i make a new one in confluence with genre - NO Single try works with genre...
maybe a isengard problem - will test a bit more tomorrow

I think you might be right, looks like it's broken even when I switch back to other skins. It's either an Isengard issue or something that has broken my end.

The new KodiFlix view update with cases is stupendous! You guys should start considering yourselves skilled skinners. I've been waiting years for a view with text only and rotating extrafanart.

No bugs seen at this time but a couple suggestions to refine it to perfect:

(1) There is a lot of dead space between the top of the window and where the text starts. So, since it's too low, the synopsis gets cut off so short, you can only see 5 lines of text. If the entire text area was raised, I assume more lines of synopsis text would be visible. Just noticed you have it this way to accommodate Logo's, something I don't use. Nevermind : )

(2) Enable discart/cover animation without requiring coverflow for sets and individual titles.

(3) Add 'Fixed List' so title posters are centered and not off to the extreme left.

This skin is really shaping up nicely.
You guys deserve waaaaaaaaaaay more rep points than you currently have and everyone should consider that if they appreciate your hard work.

Mike did the monster part of coding here - he is ( for me at least ) on a realy good way to a skilled skinner... ( for me he is already )

because your ideas... 1 & 2 sounds a good idea... 3 would be looking too much like showcase view ...

Showcase view/appearance setup/choose style offers 4 view choices: Extrathumbs, Fanart, Posters, or 4 Thumbs. I've always wished there was a 5th choice. (NONE) No artwork at all and let the rotating extrafanart background fill the void. That rotating background art is the same art as the static images anyway. KodiFlix is the closest view I've ever seen to fulfill this but it's a tradeoff because it's a perfect view but no case or discart animation.

Don't sell yourself short either. You are very skilled as well cuz I've seen you in action. Ha!

Guys i don't know if this is isenguard problem or skin, i cannot control the sorting in pvr channels. I mean i have ticked to keep channel order from the backend but it ignores me.

I'll add 1-3 to my list, as there is a switch for enable logo I think I can base text positing on if that is on or off, should let me do what you've requested. For 3 I'll add a quick solution I'm thinking of and we can see if that meets your needs.

I'll see if I can do a 5th choice, always helpful if you can supply me a screenshot / mockup of what you would lke the 5th version to look like? and then we can see what we can do.

@bluechris, Live-TV and PVR is an unknown at the moment and I apologize for that. I believe we have the latest mod from R3N3 that was added to Shednox V3 but I also think that some things have change in this area in V15. But neither shcimi or I have these areas of Kodi active so we cannot test. I asked before that if someone can give me pointers into what I need to add to my htpc, preferably via usb then I'll look into it and see if I can set it up so I can update these areas.

I've been in touch with R3N3, so perhaps he can help and test this area.

No case for movie set. Yes
Open set as boxcase. Yes
Open Case. Yes

Perhaps your "quick solution" for showcase view will accomplish without modding KodiFlix.

@brazen, I think I understand you. Now that we have cases on Kodiflix, they should be upgraded to have case animation and also rolling disc art? Are you also asking if possible to open movie sets like showcase as well, all this in Kodiflix?

Yes, correct. The whole aspect of the idea could be fulfilled by adding a 'None' to (((Showcase view)))/appearance setup/choose style. 'None' meaning do not show Extrathumbs, Fanart, Posters, or 4 Thumbs. At this time we have to choose 1 of these. Adding a 5th choice which would be 'Don't show any of these' would be perfect imo.
